Welcome

NYRA-Central New Jersey was founded in 2010 to protest Kyleigh's Law. This dangerous and discriminatory law requires all New Jersey drivers under 21 to display stickers on their license plates, and places a number of other restrictions on them. Aside from discriminating against young people, this law puts them in direct danger by providing anyone who might want to harm teenagers with easy, well-identified targets. We oppose this law through protests, contacting state legislators and reaching out for support from concerned citizens.

We are a chapter of the National Youth Rights Association, a 10,000-member non-profit organization that seeks to secure civil rights for young people in America.
